The bill directs the division of housing and community renewal to conduct a study on the demographics of tenants living in rent-stabilized apartments in Nassau, Rockland, and Westchester Counties, and in the City of Kingston. The study will cover income, race, ethnicity, ages, gender, presence of children, and length of tenancy.
