The "New York open water data act" directs specific agencies to identify and integrate key water data sets. Conveners from the New York Water Resources Institute and New York Sea Grant will lead this effort. Agencies involved include the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, New York State Department of Health, New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, New York State Canal Corporation, New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and the Public Service Commission.
