This bill allows licensed health care professionals from other states or territories to provide services in New York during the Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games sliding sports competitions in Lake Placid, from January 27, 2026, to February 25, 2026. The professionals must be in good standing and appointed by the Olympic Regional Development Authority. The bill also allows foreign-licensed professionals to provide services without state licensing or certification during the same period. The provisions expire and are repealed on February 25, 2026.
