Extends provisions allowing artists to set rules on ticket resales to June 30, 2026.
This bill extends certain provisions relating to artists setting rules about the resale of tickets to certain events. Specifically, it revives and continues in full force and effect provisions of the arts and cultural affairs law, except for section 25.11, through June 30, 2026. The provisions will not apply to tickets printed before the enactment of this act if notice of the higher maximum premium price and prohibition of sales within 1,500 feet from the place of entertainment is displayed at the point of sale and at the venue. The act takes effect immediately.
