Provides for relocation and employment assistance credits in cities with a population of one million or more.
New York cities with a population of one million or more can offer relocation and employment assistance credits. Eligible businesses must have been operating outside New York for 24 months and relocate to eligible premises. Credits are calculated based on employment shares and cannot exceed certain limits. Credits are allowed for the year of relocation and up to ten succeeding years. Credits cannot be carried over to future years.
