This bill establishes a 25-year retirement program within the New York City Employees' Retirement System (NYCERS) for water supply police members. It mandates employer pick-up of certain additional member contributions for these participants. Current and future NYCERS members employed as water supply police can elect to join this program within 180 days of employment. Members contribute an additional 6% of their compensation for credited service under this program.
