Authorizes Yeshivas Nachlas Sofrim to receive retroactive real property tax exempt status.

The bill authorizes the assessor of the town of Ramapo, county of Rockland, to accept an application from Yeshivas Nachlas Sofrim Inc. for exemption from real property taxes for the 2022-2023 school taxes and all of the 2022 and 2023 general taxes. If the application is accepted, the assessor may correct the assessment rolls as if the application had been received on or before the taxable status date. If the exemption is granted and Yeshivas Nachlas Sofrim had paid any tax with respect to the subject roll, the applicable governing body or tax department may refund those taxes.
