Authorizes the village of Trumansburg to offer a twenty-year retirement plan to Mackenzie M. Covert.

This bill authorizes the village of Trumansburg to offer an optional twenty-year retirement plan to Mackenzie M. Covert, a police officer currently under a different retirement plan. If enacted, it will increase the village's annual contributions by approximately $10,000 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. Additionally, there will be a one-time past service cost of approximately $139,000 to be paid by the village. The village must file a resolution with the state comptroller within one year of the act's effective date to implement these changes.
