Extends provisions of law relating to applied behavioral analysis.
New York A08479 amends the law to extend provisions related to applied behavioral analysis. It allows individuals employed by certain programs to perform duties of a licensed behavior analyst or a certified behavior analyst assistant. This change does not authorize the use of titles under article 167 of the education law. The extended provisions will be repealed on July 1, 2030. The act takes effect immediately.
