Extends the Department of Environmental Conservation's authority to regulate fish seasons, limits, and methods until December 31, 2028.
This bill amends the environmental conservation law to extend the authority of the Department of Environmental Conservation to regulate open seasons, size and catch limits, and manner of taking fish in New York waters until December 31, 2028. This authority applies to all fish species except marine fish specified in section 13-0339 and those already regulated under article 13.
