This bill amends the real property law to establish transparency guidelines for condominiums and cooperative housing units. When a buyer enters into a contract to purchase such a unit, the property management company or board of managers must provide the buyer with records of the most recent inspection and engineering reports and permits for the property. Buyers also have the right to request copies of these reports.
