New York A08269 amends the vehicle and traffic law to mandate that all ambulances and emergency ambulance service vehicles be equipped with stop-arms. The commissioner, in consultation with the commissioner of transportation, will establish rules and regulations for the use of these stop-arms. This act takes effect immediately.
