New York A07728 amends the energy law to explicitly permit the standard utility interconnection of sub-transmission lines for distributed generation energy sources. These sources must meet all state and federal requirements. The interconnection process will follow the same method and fashion as interconnections at the transmission level. This act takes effect immediately.
