Establishes a New York state public housing painters apprenticeship program for municipal housing authority residents.

The bill establishes a New York state public housing painters apprenticeship program for municipal housing authority residents. The program will be administered by the department, in coordination with the municipal housing authorities. Skills taught will include workplace safety, trade skills, and other workplace skills. The commissioner is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations to effectuate the provisions of this section.
