Eliminates rent regulation for rent-stabilized housing accommodations that become vacant on or after June 16, 2026.
New York A07705 amends several housing laws to eliminate rent regulation for any regulated housing accommodation that becomes vacant on or after June 16, 2026. Exceptions are made if the vacancy is due to landlord actions intended to cause the tenant to vacate.
