The monitor will provide oversight, guidance, and technical assistance related to the educational and fiscal policies, practices, programs, and decisions of the school district, the board of education, and the superintendent. The monitor will have experience in school district finances and one or more of the following areas: elementary and secondary education, the operation of agreements negotiated in accordance with article 14 of the civil service law, or other.
