New York A07493 amends the criminal procedure law and the penal law to establish the crime of aggravated criminal conduct. A person is guilty of this crime if they commit a class A misdemeanor after having three or more qualifying misdemeanor or felony convictions within the preceding ten years. Aggravated criminal conduct is classified as a class E felony.
