Extends the time for certain entities to provide fiscal intermediary services to July 1, 2025.
New York Assembly Bill A07426 amends the social services law to extend the period during which certain entities can provide fiscal intermediary services. Effective July 1, 2025, only the statewide fiscal intermediary and its subcontractors will be allowed to offer these services. All subcontractors must register with the department within 30 days of being selected. The statewide fiscal intermediary must consider compliance with federal and state laws and regulations when selecting subcontractors.
