Enacts the Child Sexual Abuse Reform Act; provides for the elimination and extension of certain statutes of limitations related to sexual offenses.

The Child Sexual Abuse Reform Act amends the criminal procedure law, penal law, social services law, and civil practice law and rules. It eliminates and extends certain statutes of limitations related to sexual offenses against children, expands reporting requirements for such offenses, and expands the central child abuse and maltreatment register. The act also revives certain causes of action previously dismissed due to the statute of limitations and allows for the commencement of actions within three years of the act's effective date.
