New York Assembly Bill A07003 expands the statute of limitations for certain sex offenses to include sex trafficking and sex trafficking of a child. It also provides that in an action brought for human trafficking, it is not necessary to require that a criminal charge be brought or a criminal conviction be obtained as a condition of bringing a civil cause of action or receiving a civil judgment.
