This bill amends the retirement and social security law to establish a thirty-year retirement benefit for correction officers of the Westchester county correction department. Correction officers retiring after completing twenty-five years of service will receive a pension equal to one-half of their final average salary. Those retiring after thirty years of service will receive a pension equal to sixty percent of their final average salary. The bill also includes provisions for actuarial equivalents of accumulated contributions and reserved-for-increased-take-home-pay.
