Extends provisions relating to the mortgage tax in the county of Steuben until December 1, 2027.
New York Assembly Bill A06659 amends the tax law relating to the mortgage recording tax in Steuben County. The bill extends the provisions of Chapter 365 of the Laws of 2005, as amended by Chapter 287 of the Laws of 2023, until December 1, 2027. The changes will take effect immediately except for section two, which will take effect on the thirtieth day after the bill becomes law.
