This bill amends the public authorities law to require the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, in conjunction with the New York City Transit Authority, to create weekly and monthly tickets that allow for optional, discounted transfers between the Long Island Rail Road and the Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company to the New York City Transit Authority subways and buses. The bill takes effect 30 days after becoming law.
