Ends the imposition of a sentence of life without parole and the death penalty. The determinate sentence shall be imposed by the court in whole or half years, and shall include as a part thereof a period of post-release supervision. Certain provisions of the penal law, the correction law, the criminal procedure law, the county law, the executive law, and the judiciary law are repealed.
