Increases the minimum wage outside of New York city and the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester.

This bill amends the labor law to increase the minimum wage for workers outside of New York City and the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester. It sets a new minimum wage of $15.00 starting January 1, 2024, $15.50 starting January 1, 2025, and $17.00 starting January 1, 2026. The wage may be adjusted if a higher federal minimum wage is established. The bill also repeals certain provisions related to exceptions to minimum wage increases.
