Enacts the "PFAS discharge disclosure act"; requires certain SPDES permit holders to conduct PFAS monitoring and disclose the results from such.

The bill enacts the "PFAS discharge disclosure act" to address the contamination of New York's waters by per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). It mandates that covered industrial users and Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) conduct PFAS monitoring and submit the results to the department and the POTW. The bill defines "covered industrial user" and "covered industrial discharger" as entities in industries known or suspected to discharge PFAS or determined by the department to warrant PFAS monitoring.
