Directs the commissioner of motor vehicles to provide certain services on Fishers Island for a limited period of time.

This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to direct the commissioner of motor vehicles to provide certain services on Fishers Island for a limited period of time. The commissioner may deputize a person to issue or renew licenses, registrations, and number plates for residents of Fishers Island. Such deputies shall not receive compensation from the state and no additional fees can be charged unless approved by the commissioner. The facility will be available twice annually, for a period determined by the commissioner.
