Bill A05509 amends the education law to permit school districts, boards of cooperative educational services, county vocational education and extension boards, charter schools, and non-public elementary and secondary schools to provide and maintain topical hemostatic agents on-site in each instructional school facility. These schools can also allow authorized personnel to administer these agents during emergencies.
