New York Finger Lakes Crematory can add an additional retort for mechanical or technical failure of an existing retort.
New York Assembly Bill A05449 amends the not-for-profit corporation law to allow the Finger Lakes Crematory in Livonia, Livingston County, to add an additional retort. This additional retort is expressly for use in the event of a mechanical or technical failure of an existing retort. The addition must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Importantly, this addition shall not diminish or otherwise affect the ability of the crematory to be operated as provided in this section.
