The bill establishes the high school peer mentoring pilot program in all public high schools. The program includes a peer mentoring program, training for school staff, and a team of trainers. It also involves the use of the Search Institute's developmental relationships framework, continuous support and training, and a virtual relationship mapping exercise. The program will be assessed and a report will be submitted to state officials. The pilot program will expire on January 1, 2028.
