This bill amends the vehicle and traffic law to allow individuals to consent to receive information from the C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program and the national marrow donor program at the time of application for or renewal of a driver's license or non-driver identification card. It directs the commissioner of motor vehicles to establish a process by which the department of motor vehicles shall refer applicants who consent to having their information shared with these programs for the purposes of receiving information about enrolling as a potential donor.
