Extends provisions of law relating to monitor of the Wyandanch union free school district from June 30, 2025 until June 30, 2030.

The bill amends chapter 18 of the laws of 2020 to extend the provisions of law relating to the monitor of the Wyandanch union free school district. The monitor, appointed by the commissioner of education in consultation with the comptroller, oversees the district and establishes its powers and duties. The extension applies to sections three through ten of the act, which will expire and be repealed on June 30, 2030. Section eleven will expire and be repealed on June 30 of the last fiscal year during which serial bonds or bonds issued to refund such serial bonds are outstanding.
