Allows either party in a workers compensation claim to request a hearing and mandates a record of all hearings.
This bill amends the workers' compensation law to allow either party in a workers compensation claim to request a hearing. It also requires the board to keep an accurate record of all hearings held. The decision of the board shall be final as to all questions of fact, and, except as provided in section twenty-three of this article, as to all questions of law. The bill takes effect immediately.
