Establishes the crime of doxing a police officer or peace officer in New York.

This bill amends the penal law by adding a new section that establishes the crime of doxing a police officer or peace officer. Doxing occurs when a person knowingly makes restricted personal information about a police officer, peace officer, or a member of their immediate family publicly available. This is done with the intent to threaten, intimidate, or incite the commission of a crime of violence against the officer or family member, or with the intent and knowledge that the information is likely to be used for such purposes.
