Adds three additional family court judges to Richmond County and three additional civil court judges to Richmond County.
This bill amends the family court act and the New York City Civil Court Act to increase the number of judges in Richmond County. Specifically, it adds three additional family court judges and three additional civil court judges to Richmond County. These new judges will be elected in the November 4, 2025 election and will serve terms commencing on January 1, 2026.
