The "broadband deployment assistance act" requires municipalities to process substantially similar broadband deployment permits together on an expedited basis. It defines terms like "batch broadband permit processing" and "substantially similar broadband permit applications." Municipalities must process such applications within a presumptively reasonable time, which is sixty days for attaching facilities to existing structures or ninety days for attaching facilities to new structures. If a municipality denies one application, it does not affect the processing of others.
