New York Assembly Bill A04214 amends the vehicle and traffic law to allow dismissal of a speed camera violation if any required information in the notice of liability is omitted, misdescribed, or illegible. The notice of liability must include the name and address of the alleged violator, the vehicle's registration number, the violation's location and time, the camera's identification number, and two images of the vehicle. The bill takes effect immediately but does not affect the repeal of certain sections.
