This bill amends the public health law and the social services law to set minimum Medicaid reimbursement rates for private duty nursing services. It requires the Department of Health to publish a private duty rate schedule at least thirty days before the effective date of the rate increase and annually thereafter. Effective October 1, 2026, payments for private duty nursing services must be no less than eighty percent of the appropriate CHAMPUS/TRICARE maximum allowable charge based on the New York locality.
