Enacts the "electric super highway act" to require alternative fuels to be available for public use along the New York state thruway after November.

The bill, known as the "electric super highway act," mandates that alternative fuels be available for public use along the New York state thruway after November 1, 2025. It requires each recommended alternative fuel to be provided at least every one hundred twenty miles on both sides of the thruway. The bill defines "alternative fuel" to include ethanol, methanol, natural gas, propane, electricity (including from solar energy), hydrogen, and any other fuel identified as substantially not petroleum-based.
