The bill authorizes the Jamesville-DeWitt central school district to discontinue the use of school district-owned parklands and lease them to the town of Onondaga for park and recreational purposes. The lease term cannot exceed thirty years. The town of Onondaga must maintain the parklands and facilities and continue to provide access to them for the general public, including residents of the town and the school district. The town cannot enact fees or charges that are higher for non-town residents of the school district.
