Expands monitoring of student incidents in the online reporting system to maintain data throughout a student's elementary and secondary education.
New York Assembly Bill A03752 amends the administrative code to expand the monitoring of student incidents within the online occurrence reporting system (OORS). It requires the storage and maintenance of data for the entirety of a student's elementary and secondary education. This data will be accessible to school principals, who can use it to identify repeated incidents of behavior and determine if additional support or intervention is needed. Incidents documented through the OORS will include, but are not limited to, bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, and fighting.
