Establishes special districts for general ambulance services in the Adirondack park and mandates a report on volunteer firefighter and ambulance.

New York Assembly Bill A03672 amends the general municipal law to allow the establishment of special districts for general ambulance services in any county, city, town, or village within the Adirondack park. These districts can be formed individually or jointly by participating municipalities. The bill also mandates the commissioner, in consultation with the state office of fire prevention and control, to prepare and publish a report on the staffing of volunteer firefighter and ambulance services in New York state by January 1, 2027.
