New York A03667 mandates employers to confirm they have implemented a sexual harassment prevention policy meeting minimum standards after annual.
New York A03667 amends the labor law to require employers to submit an affirmative acknowledgement of implementing a sexual harassment prevention policy which meets or exceeds the minimum standards. This confirmation must be submitted upon the completion of the employer's annual training or the training of a newly hired employee. The Department of Labor will consult with the Division of Human Rights to create a system for employers to submit these acknowledgements. The bill also allows the commissioner to promulgate regulations as necessary for the implementation of these policies.
