The bill enacts the "faith-based affordable housing act" to allow religious corporations to develop residential buildings on specified sites. It defines terms and provides that each village, town, and city must allow the construction and occupation of residential buildings on covered sites up to specified densities. In towns, villages, or cities with fewer than one million inhabitants, residential buildings must set aside at least 20% of the residential floor area for households earning an average of 80% of the area median income.
