Establishes special districts for general ambulance services in the Adirondack park.
This bill amends the general municipal law to allow for the establishment of special districts for general ambulance services in any county, city, town, or village located within the Adirondack park. These districts can be established individually or jointly by participating municipalities. The bill also allows for the dissolution of any preexisting local districts serving the same jurisdiction once a joint district is established. The provisions of this act are subject to expiration and reversion under specific conditions.
