The bill amends the New York state medical care facilities finance agency act to allow the agency to issue an additional $1.8 billion of nursing home project bonds and hospital and nursing home project notes. The total amount of these bonds and notes can exceed $20.2 billion, excluding those issued to refund outstanding bonds and notes. The bill takes effect immediately.
