New York Assembly Bill A03201 amends the correction law to allow county correctional facilities to use profits from commissaries or canteens within the facilities for the general purposes of the institution. Profits from sales will be deposited in a special fund known as the commissary or canteen fund. This act will take effect 30 days after it becomes law.
