New York A02680 amends the civil service law to establish annual longevity payments for state employees designated managerial or confidential. Effective April 1 following the bill's enactment, eligible employees who have completed twelve years or more of continuous service and have a performance rating higher than "Below Minimum" will receive a $1,500 payment. Employees with seventeen years or more of service will receive an additional $1,500 payment. Those with twenty-two years or more will receive an additional $1,500 payment. These payments will be made annually.
