Ensures managerial and confidential state employees receive salary increases equal to those of bargaining units with the highest increases.
This bill amends the civil service law to guarantee that state employees designated as managerial or confidential receive salary increases at least equal to those provided to employees in bargaining units with the highest percentage of general salary increases. If a lump sum payment is provided in place of or in addition to a general salary increase, the largest lump sum payment must also be given to these state employees.
