This bill allows licensed athletic trainers from other states, territories, or countries to provide athletic training services to athletes and team personnel at sanctioned events in New York. These services can be provided five days before through three days after the event. The trainers must be licensed or title-protected and in good standing in their home jurisdiction. They must also have a written agreement to provide services to athletes and team personnel of a recognized U.S. sports team or an out-of-state educational institution.
